I find it difficult to promote/market my book. I feel like I'm blowing my own horn! I do believe in it and I want people to read it-I know it will open hearts and minds to an issue that never seems to go away.

I spent years working as an agent in the music industry and loved promoting my clients - I guess I have to look at myself as 'my client'.

It was an interesting experience to write 'Sleeping with Psychopath.' It took me years to to put it together but finally about a year and a half ago I decided to fictionalize it. That's when I was able to detach and write the story without re-living it. It's hard to explain - I mean I felt it, I felt my character's fear and hopelessness - but I knew she was going to okay - I saw her strength and it made me proud.

I love the Whitney Houston song, 'I Didn't Know My Own Strength'. Do any of really know our own strength?

The story takes readers on a journey in the shoes of an abused woman during her frightening year with a psychopath. Readers will feel her fear, pain, despair and lonliness. This is a story about an attractive, intelligent, independent woman who meets an attractive, intelligent, charming man.
