I find it difficult to promote/market my book. I feel like I'm blowing my own horn! I do believe in it and I want people to read it-I know it will open hearts and minds to an issue that never seems to go away.
I spent years working as an agent in the music industry and loved promoting my clients - I guess I have to look at myself as 'my client'.
I hope fellow bloggers who read my book will write me their feedback. It's available at http://www.trafford.com/Bookstore - just type in the title, 'Sleeping with a Psychopath' in the search box.

It was an interesting experience to write 'Sleeping with Psychopath.' It took me years to to put it together but finally about a year and a half ago I decided to fictionalize it. That's when I was able to detach and write the story without re-living it. It's hard to explain - I mean I felt it, I felt my character's fear and hopelessness - but I knew she was going to okay - I saw her strength and it made me proud.
I love the Whitney Houston song, 'I Didn't Know My Own Strength'. Do any of really know our own strength?

Hi Everyone, 'Sleeping with a Psychopath' is my first novel. It's based on my own experience - my editor said it may best be described as a fictionized memoir. The story takes readers on a journey in the shoes of an abused woman during her frightening year with a psychopath. Readers will feel her fear, pain, despair and lonliness. Readers will also admire her determination, applaud her courage and ultimately cheer her triumphant finish. This is a story about an attractive, intelligent, independent woman who meets an attractive, intelligent, charming man. Successfully he disguises his true self and methodically seduces her into his sick and evil trap. The relationship moves fast -- from sexy and romantic to a horrific nightmare.
